Navratri 2026 in Delhi NCR: 9 Restaurants Serving Creative Satvik Thalis and Fasting Menus

Navratri 2026 in Delhi NCR: 9 Restaurants Serving Creative Satvik Thalis and Fasting Menus

From jackfruit tacos to Banarasi thalis, these 9 Delhi NCR restaurants are giving Navratri fasting food a creative twist.

Navratri fasting does not have to mean eating sabudana khichdi and potatoes for nine days. This year, restaurants across Delhi NCR are giving traditional fasting ingredients a fresh twist, with menus featuring buckwheat dosas, jackfruit tacos, millet pulao and elaborate regional thalis.

From October 11, several restaurants are offering special Navratri menus that combine satvik cooking with regional Indian flavours and modern presentation. Here are nine places to try during the festival.

Southern Flavours for a Fasting Plate

1. Kai OOTA, Meharchand Market, Lodhi Colony

Kai OOTA brings Karnataka-inspired flavours to the Navratri table. Its menu includes sabakki (sago) khichdi and vada, Karnataka-style poori with sagu, mosaru aloo, sweet potato chaat and kuttu dosa served with upwas aloo palya.

The dishes are available à la carte from October 11 to 19, making this a good option for those who want to explore South Indian flavours while fasting.

2. Hosa, Gurugram

Hosa takes a regional approach to its satvik menu, using South Indian spices and white butter to give familiar fasting ingredients a different flavour.

Dishes include urulai roast, kappa curry, white pumpkin mor kulambu, little millet pulao and spinach and buckwheat poori.

The special menu is available until October 18 at ₹1,149 plus taxes per person.

Modern Twists on Traditional Ingredients

3. LORE, Radisson Hotel, MG Road, Gurugram

LORE gives traditional fasting food a contemporary touch. Its menu features avocado carpaccio, buckwheat baloni, butter squash kofta and quinoa and sabudana risotto.

One of the unusual offerings is zeera aloo Wellington, served with gorgon nut coulis.

The menu is available until October 19. Lunch is served from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm, while dinner runs from 7 pm to 11:30 pm. The price is ₹1,799 plus taxes per person.

4. Cafe Loco, M-Block Market, Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi

For those who prefer casual dining, Cafe Loco offers a different take on fasting food. The menu uses buckwheat, sweet potato and jackfruit in café-style dishes.

Its jackfruit taco is a standout option, with spiced jackfruit filling inside a buckwheat shell, topped with sour cream.

The special menu is available throughout Navratri. A meal for two costs approximately ₹1,200 to ₹1,500.

5. Comorin, WorldMark, Gurugram

Comorin offers a vegetarian thali rooted in regional Indian cooking. The highlight is its katthal and makhana qorma, while the meal ends with kesar badam milk cake served with pear murabba.

The special thali is available from October 11 to 18 at ₹1,399 plus taxes per person.

Rich and Regional Navratri Spreads

6. Dhaba, The Claridges, New Delhi

Dhaba brings a rich, traditional approach to fasting food, using dry fruits, nut pastes and coconut-based curries.

The menu includes thandai, Kandhari paneer tikka and kacche kele ki kadhi. Its jimikand kebab, prepared with yam and prunes, is another dish to look out for.

The special menu is available for lunch and dinner from October 11 to 19 at ₹2,495 plus taxes per person.

7. Loya, Taj Palace, New Delhi

Loya adds regional flavours to its Navratri offerings. The menu features thechwani chaat, gola kebab, chulai aur kand ki tikki and kuttu ki khichdi.

Other dishes to look for include singhada gular, made with water chestnut, and ambal paneer.

The à la carte menu is available from October 11 to 19.

8. Machan, Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi

Machan takes inspiration from Banarasi food traditions. Its Navratri spread is served in brass and copper thalis, with kulhads and marigold flowers adding to the festive setting.

The menu includes kuttu ki poori, samak rice, sakarkandi chaat and sabudana tikki.

Available from October 11 to 20, the special spread costs ₹3,000 plus taxes per person.

9. Punjab Grill, Multiple Locations Across Delhi NCR

Punjab Grill offers a full satvik thali for those who prefer a traditional spread over individual fusion dishes.

The menu includes fruit chaat with anari dressing, paneer makhana, khatta meetha kaddu, dahi vada and sweets.

Starting at ₹999 plus taxes per person, it is the most affordable thali on this list.

Before You Visit

Prices range from ₹999 to ₹3,000 per person, with options for different budgets and dining preferences. However, the availability period varies by restaurant. Some menus end on October 18, while others continue until October 20.

Call the restaurant before visiting to confirm the menu, timings and price. If you are observing a strict fast, ask whether the dishes are prepared without onion and garlic and whether sendha namak (rock salt) is used. Ingredients and preparation methods may differ, even on special Navratri menus.

If your fasting meals have started to feel repetitive, these restaurants offer a chance to try something different. From a buckwheat dosa and jackfruit taco to a traditional Banarasi thali, Delhi NCR has plenty of options to make your Navratri meals more varied.
