The Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE), Government of NCT of Delhi, has released a recruitment notification inviting applications for the post of Principal at the College of Art, Delhi. Post Details and Pay Structure

The position is classified under Level-14 of the Pay Matrix, with an entry pay of ₹1,44,200 per month. In addition to the basic pay, the selected candidate will be entitled to a special allowance of ₹6,750 per month, as per applicable government rules.
The appointment will be on deputation, including short-term contract, and is open to officers and academics currently working in the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, or recognized universities and research institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and substantial experience in teaching and administration. While the detailed eligibility conditions are outlined in Annexure-I of the recruitment notification, the standard requirements for a Level-14 post typically include a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Fine Arts or a related discipline, supported by a first-class academic record.
Applicants should either be holding an analogous post on a regular basis or have completed the required number of years of regular service in the immediate lower grade, such as Level-13A or Level-13. Proven experience in academic administration, institutional development, research supervision, and leadership roles will be a key consideration during the selection process.
