Transcendent Love
Shall I speak through fields of golden wheat,
or in doves whose wings beat a gentle hymn?
In their flight, my heart rises, untamed,
drenched in the sunlight of a love unclaimed.
Shall I tell it through summer’s cooling rain,
or in winter’s timid, tender sun?
In every drop, in every ray,
my spirit finds a song begun.
Shall I reveal it in butterflies’ fleeting dance,
in laughter that twirls in the light of chance?
Or in the peacock’s jeweled, hypnotic sway,
whose rhythm turns the earth to play?
Shall I whisper it in mountains’ booming cheer,
in echoes that chase me far and near?
Or in leaves that murmur and sway,
crafting melodies that beg me to stay?
Shall I bind it to rivers, endlessly flowing,
or waterfalls whose song keeps on glowing?
In every wave, in every crest,
I feel this love within my chest.
All creation hums this sacred truth,
in every season, in every youth:
love beyond measure, love beyond time,
woven in all, sublime, divine.
And as I breathe in their wondrous song,
I grow richer, ever strong,
for in the heartbeat of earth and sky,
my transcendent love will never die.
