Tech ties with West will boost India’s stature on a global platform

India is trying to establish tech ties with the United Kingdom, which will be beneficial for India to take up the contemporary challenges of boosting the economy to take India to the number three position in the world. The same kind of agreements have been done by India with many European countries in the past with this notion as well. The UK-India Technology Security Initiative (TSI), known as Trifecta, will be taking on many technological challenges such as telecom security, artificial intelligence, space, biotechnology, semiconductors, and quantum computing. Without these technological advancements, India cannot achieve its mission to take the economy among the top slots of developed nations such as the US, China, UK, Japan, and Germany. India will of course gain a lot from AI in the current circumstances to mend and manage the many challenges of innovations and tap the market to gain advances for raising the stature and reputation on the horizon of world development.

Although the agreements between India and the UK are bilateral, the impact will be very wide and comprehensive in the coming years. Such agreements will be helpful to mitigate the influence and dependency of China to a great extent. China’s advancements on the technological front always provide an edge to lead the way it wants to, and this is where India lags behind.

In order to counter the China’s influence on global scenario, India is very much in need of such kind of bilateral agreements with advanced countries to propel the growth trajectory towards inclusive economy and innovation. Catering to the 1.4 billion population is not easy and feasible to sustain if technological advancements and innovations are not taken up in the right spirit. The Technology Security Initiative (TSI) with US and UK will help India develop a robust template for innovation of technology and its implementation on different walks of life. Finally, with the collaboration of technology with international entities will surely make a strong ecosystem of development and progress in the coming years.
