It is the very pertinent question being asked in India nowadays? There are so many parties in the fray holding clandestine desire to form the government in the centre. And rightly so the principal opposition part formed a composite alliance called 'INDIA' (Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance). But in a real sense no one has such a vast experience and resources to become victorious except the Indian National Congress (INC). The achievement of this grand old party cannot be gainsaid in modern India.
This is the party who fought and liberated us from the clutches of tyranny and injustice. It has catapulted the industrial revolution to make India compete with the developed nation. In doing so, it has erected many public sectors to make India self-reliant and take it further on the path of technological progress and development. Owing to this, it has created jobs and employment for the welfare of society over the years.
It was sowed the seed of democratic government and finally nurtured it with care to let it become mature and effective. Further, it played a crucial role to eradicate social discrimination from the society being practiced for centuries.
It was with the iron determination of this party that the imperial Zamindari got abolished and replaced with land reforms which thought to be the land mark achievement of India in making rural development possible and later on Green Revolution as well as White Revolution were solemnized. Now, India is the largest producer of milk in the world.
With the initiative of Congress government, the thirst of scientific quest has been quenched and now India has become a major nuclear, space and missile power. In addition, we have established ourselves a global leader in Information and Technology (IT).
It was the developmental projects of congress which fetched downtrodden people of India and created a new zone which is popularly known as Middle Class. Also, it went ahead the main street to empower scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes through reservations and through social welfare and economic development programs for their welfare and well-being.
The achievement of congress is limitless. The last and not the least, it is the Congress who transformed our economy and established ourselves as one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
Aforementioned credentials seem to be enough to convince the people of India that this is the party who can shower us the resources to fulfill needs and requirements.
